Oscars 2010: And more people wore more stuff

As well as the event itself, the after-parties cultivated yet even more outfits to ogle, especially the Vanity Fair one.  And you know what?  That bloody Cameron Diaz only went and did it AGAIN later in the night.

Like the dress she wore for the ceremony, this is glitzy, glam and super-flattering but also makes her look youthful.  Another huge thumbs-up.

I think we can now finally forgive her for that time she kept wearing bowler hats.

The Oscars happened and some people wore some clothes

Dear reader, give your eyes a long, cool, delicious sip of this:

Oh Cameron.  Oh Cammy, Cammy, Cammy.  Wow.

I actually gasped when I first saw this picture and then looked around the room to see if anyone else was looking over my shoulder, also basking in the feminine sparkliness.  As it happened, no one was, they were all working like I should have been, but still, I basked alone and oohed and ahhed to myself over how gorgeous she looks.

This is, by far my favourite look of the night.

Another day, another Lady Gaga fashion statement

Most people get up in the morning and throw on a pair of trousers and a top.

But it was just another day for Lady Gaga, as she got up, rolled about in flour, put on a bikini, rolled about in flour some more, stuck a load of pearls on her face and body, rolled about in flour and finished the look off with a hat and jacket.  And then probably rolled about in flour again.

The Bear Hat strikes again

I could make this post all about how Katie Price’s man won Celebrity Big Brother last night but let’s just take a moment to think about what’s really important here.

Cast your eyes to the lovely lady in the crowd on the right hand side of the picture.  She is wearing The Bear Hat.  I directed your attention to The Bear Hat when Katy Perry was photographed wearing it.

The Bear Hat is everywhere.  Not only do I own one myself, half the world seems to be wearing it.  I spot it daily in the city I live in, on both males and females and I am very much enjoying the fact that the world is experiencing The Bear Hat Love.

Long live The Bear Hat!

Ashley Olsen in blue

I wasn’t going to say anything about this, but then I kept on seeing it and every time I saw it I had an opinion on it, so what the hey.

Ashley Olsen looks like an adorable little doll.

The dress is so… big.  And frilly.  And so, so blue.

But, I LOVE the blue.  And I like the shiny texture.  And her hair and makeup looks so fresh and pretty.

And oh, those shoes.  I have a shoe calendar at work, where every day is a new page with a picture of a different shoe (usually extremely hideous).  But my favourite so far has been those exact shoes that Ashley is wearing there- which is why I know they are Manolo Blahniks as used in Sex and the City.  And they’re rather cute.  Monday January 18 on the calendar in case you were wondering.
